Ferran Centelles

Ferran Centelles (Barcelona, 1981) is probably the foremost Spanish sommelier of the moment, a national and international reference. After finishing his training, he began his professional career at El Bulli (2000-2011), and since then he has not stopped studying and working, both in Spain and abroad. He obtained the WSET Diploma in London, the Advanced Sommelier CMS and was responsible for the wine list of El Bulli for thirteen years, in addition to being responsible for some seasons in restaurants such as Aurora, The Vineyard or Maggiore’s, in London.

Co-founder of Outlook Wine (The Barcelona Wine School) and Wineissocial.com, he won the Ruinart 2006 award (best sommelier in Spain) and his valuable contribution to the world of wine culture has earned him the National Gastronomy Award (2011) and the Professional of the Year Award (2013) by the Asociación Catalana de Gastronomía (Catalan Gastronomy Association).
