Irene Lozano is a writer, thinker and director of The Thinking Campus school of philosophy. She has won the Espasa Prize for Essay (Lenguas en guerra) and has published a further half dozen books (including El saqueo de la imaginación, Lecciones para el inconformista aturdido and the biography Federica Montseny, una anarquista en el poder), as well as hundreds of articles in leading Spanish intellectual magazines. She is a contributor to several written publications and has worked periodically for foreign media such as BBC Radio and the Swedish newspaper Expresen.
