Luis E. Íñigo Fernández

Luis E. Íñigo Fernández (Guadalajara, 1966) holds a PhD in Contemporary History from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), is an education inspector and professor at the Centro de Estudios Magíster. In his long career he has held various positions, including that of deputy director general of Educational Inspection of the Community of Madrid, and has taught at the Nebrija and Camilo José Cela Universities. A specialist in the Second Spanish Republic, his research has focused on the moderate republican parties. He is the author of more than twenty books, including research works such as La derecha liberal en la Segunda República Española and Melquíades Álvarez. Un liberal en la Segunda República and also biographies, such as Francisco Franco. La obsession por durar. A great fan of science fiction, he has published Breve historia de la ciencia ficción, the only book in Spanish that analyzes the evolution of the genre in all its manifestations.
