Sebastià Serrano is a professor of General Linguistics at the Faculty of Philology at the Universitat de Barcelona. He has been a visiting professor at universities in Amsterdam, Lyon, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Berkeley and Rome and has published several studies in various fields including semiotics, linguistics, poetics, philosophy, scientific theory and, especially, communication theory.
