Margarita Sánchez Romero is an archaeologist, writer, professor in the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology, and rector of Equality, Inclusion and Sustainability at the University of Granada. Her main interest as a researcher is to assert the importance of women’s role in prehistoric societies. She is the creator of the pastwomen.net project, which aims to lend visibility to research in archeology and the history of women’s culture in prehistoric societies.
